Here is a list of Frequently Asked Questions about B Williams Management and St.Kitts. If you don’t see your question here, contact Bernadette with your request.

1. Are pets allowed?

A: Yes and No, depending upon the individual preference of the Villas’ owners.

2. Do all the villas have pool access?

A: Some properties do while others do not; it’s best to confirm with the offices of B Williams Property Management Services first.

3. Are most properties close to the beach?

A: The island is small, so most properties are about a 10-15 min drive away from the nearest/most popular beach – Frigate Bay.

4. What time does the supermarkets or stores close?

A: Supermarkets and Stores basically close between 4:30pm & 7:30pm daily, however there are a few supermarkets which extend their hours to as late as 9:30pm (Kings Pavillion, J’s Shop & Save) and the Gas Stations have convenience sections that open until about 11 pm.

5. Are the properties located in areas that are safe?

A: The properties themselves are safe as most are equipped with either Burglar Bars or Burglar Alarms or sometimes both. Additionally, there is a newly established outpost for the Basseterre Police Station within close proximity to the properties.

6. What is the typical dress code?

A: Due to our climate dress is generally casual. Light cotton clothing is recommended.

7. How easy is it to get around?

A: We have several rental agencies. Driving is on the left side of the road. A visitor’s driver’s license is required and can be obtained from the rental agency or police station. Taxis are also available with locations at the airport, St. Kitts Marriott Taxi Stand and in the Capital Basseterre.

8. What is the weather like for the island?

A: On average the temperature is 80F year round.

9. What are the banking hours?

A: Hours are Mon-Thurs 8am – 2pm and Fri 8am – 4pm. The banks are Bank of Nova Scotia, Royal Bank of Canada, National Bank, RBTT and First Caribbean International Bank, which are all located in the capital Basseterre.

10. Is there a cleaning service available?

A: Upon request reasonably priced.

11. What is the electrical power at the house?

A: .Standard North American electrical outlets with 110 volts.

12. How far are you located from the airport?

A: We are located just 10 – 15 mins away from the RLB International Airport.

13. What currency is accepted on the island?

A: The Eastern Caribbean Dollar (ECD) is the widely accepted currency on the islands, however, the United States Dollar (USD) is also readily accepted locally and is worth approximately ECD$2.65 for USD$1.00 depending on the vendor.
